Karma is a cat, purring in Mariska Hargitay’s lap ’cause it loves her… and they vibe like that
Law & Order: SVU star, Mariska Hargitay, added a new feline to her family and gave it a Taylor Swift-inspired name: Karma.

Hargitay shared the news on Instagram on Thursday, with pics of her new kitty and hashtag references to Swift’s Midnights album track that inspired the name choice.
The naming marks a full-circle since Swift named one of her cats Olivia Benson after Hargitay’s character in Law and Order: SVU.
Olivia (the cat) has appeared in several of Swift’s music videos, including “Me!” “Blank Space” and of course “Karma.”
Taylor hasn’t responded yet. But it will be no surprise if Olivia and Karma have a play-date soon.
